More than a group of ambitious youth musicians and performers, Rock Melon is a grassroots Beach Pop project based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Blending elements of jangle pop, post punk revival, and dream pop, Rock Melon creates vibrant and emotionally vulnerable music that balances shimmering melodies with lyrical introspection. In addition to creating original music, the band brings a bright and youthful energy to every stage they step on. Like a Minnesota summer, Rock Melon comes fully alive in the warmth of the sun, the cool breeze drifting off the Mississippi River, and the color that seems to appear overnight. Their sound feels open, melodic, and sunlit. Rock Melon creates a sonic world built for long days, late nights, and everything in between.
